The project included the expediting of key mechanical components. GPM Services provided all supervision, labour, tools and equipment, cranes and trucks required to complete the installation. GPM Services installed and commissioned some 2000 tons of structural steel and mechanical equipment.

The project involved the construction and installation of a pump station for the newly erected water reservoir in Pienaar. The scope included fabrication, corrosion protection, installation of pumps, pipes, valves and coupling alignment.

The scope included the fabrication of dust cyclones, chutes, combustion chamber and ducting. GPM Services also provided the logistical coordination for the receipt of imported components. Locally fabricated items along with imported components were installed in accordance with client specifications.

GPM Services provided all supervision, labour, tools and equipment required to complete the installation. GPM Services installed and commissioned some 100 tons of structural steel and vibrating screens, chutes and pumps. It was a privilege to be involved in the construction of one of the worlds largest open cast mines.

The GPM Concentrator Construction Project is one of the largest projects completed by GPM Services. We sub-contracted our services, through Bateman Minerals and Metals, to Ridge Mining. GPM Services was the main SMPP contractor – providing all supervision, labour, tools and equipment, cranes and trucks required to complete the installation. GPM Services installed and commissioned some 3000 tons of structural steel and mechanical equipment. Our Pipe Crews installed over 12 kilometers of process piping and associated pipe supports.

As GPM Services is a company with a national foot print, we are pleased to have worked in Namaqua Sands. The project involved the removal and replacement of pre-fabricated reactor components. GPM Services provided all supervision, labour, tools and equipment for the rigging and installation of the reactor components.

Xstrata, being one of our major clients, has utilized our maintenance support crews for over 4 years. At Xstrata we maintain a wide range of equipment including conveyors, fans, kilns and ducting systems.
